Background
We started the company back in 2001 when the market was still young. It was called
Power Software and the company's main activities were
web development and programming. Truth be told, we had quite a success in those areas, thus we
decided to explore the connected markets as well, mainly technical support. For 5 years we were
one of the largest and most successful tech support companies in Eastern Europe.
Since programming and web development wasn't our main focus area and acknowledging the
influence of Web 2.0 we decided to change the company's name in order to reflect our new
direction, as well as giving us the opportunity to enter new emerging markets.
Thus, after a long rebranding process, in January 2006 SimpliQ Media & Technology was born,
a new image of a company with a strong background.
In September 2006 the opportunity arised to enter what we belive to be an underserver market
in Romania, that of dedicated servers and collocation services. After a significant investment
we built the first DataCenter in Western Romania. This was one of the best strategies of SimpliQ
for 2006 since shortly afterwards we started serving the entire Romanian market.
The most recent step was taken in July 2007 when after another major investment we built our
latest facilities within an industrial complex. More details about the new DataCenter can be

In December 2007 SimpliQ was the first company in Eastern Europe to lauch a suite of business
communication tools based on Microsoft Hosted Exchange 2007 and SharePoint Services 3.0 under

Future Plans
SimpliQ was and is very technology savvy. We use the lastest available technologies, therefor we
we decided to focus on two main directions - creating even more offers based on SaaS (Software as a
Service) and of course, imroving the current dedicated server and collocation services with additional,
connected services.
In order to do this we'll broaden our business and communication services offers, based on
Microsoft technologies, our main goal right now being to deploy all our services based on the
SaaS model.
Regarding the current dedicated servers and collocation services we will soon launch a suite of
additional services that will allow our clients to focus on their core businesses and no longer on
the daily management of their IT infrastructure.
SimpliQ Management
The entire business activity of the company is supervised by 4 managers with extensive
experience in their respective fields.
Adrian Costin - CEO
Adrian is the founder, owner and CEO of the company. He has over 9 years experience in the
IT market. His main prerogatives are the daily management of the company and corporate client
relations. He is also Main Network Engineer of the SimpliQ DataCenter. Certifications: CCNA, MCP
Lorand R. Minyo - Executive Vice President
In 2002 Lorand had its first contact with SimpliQ as a consultant. Later on he was offered the
position of Executive Vice President, today being resposible for the marketing and advertising
campaigns, as well as public relations. Lorand is member of the Institute of Copywriting.
Lucian Craciun - CTO
Lucian joined the SimpliQ team in 2003 as system administrator and later on came to hold the
position of CTO, overseeing the entire tech support team, comprised of over 20 sysadmins. Also,
he is Senior Network Engineer at the SimpliQ DataCenter. Certifications: CCNA
Radu A. Pop - Senior Sales Manager
The team was completed in 2006 when Radu joined the company, after holding several key positions
in sales at a few multinational companies. His main duties are direct sales to corporate clients, as
well as devising the company's business sector sales campaigns.
